If you purchased a course through this website that includes “The KIT.”

1. Login using your email & the password you created, or the credentials we emailed you with.
2. Go to “My Knopman”
3. Click on the Exam you are preparing for, listed under “My Courses”
4. Here you will see a number of tabs, we suggest that you click through each one to see what you have access to
5. One of your tabs is called “Knopman Internet Training (KIT)”. Click on this tab to see the On-Demand videos you now have access to. Be sure to disable any pop-up blockers that could prevent the videos from launching.

Note: Under your “Resources” tab you will see a section called “Class Handouts”. These handouts can be printed & used for note taking as you sit through the On-Demand training.

1. Login using your email & the password you created, or the credentials we emailed you with.
2. Go to “My Knopman”
3. Click on the Exam you are preparing for, listed under “My Courses”.
4. Here you will see a number of tabs; we suggest that you click through each one to see what you have access to.
5. One of your tabs is called “My Schedule”. Click on this tab to view your study calendar & the available class dates. Choose from the drop down of available classes & then click “Select New Date”

We don’t handle the scheduling of the actual exam – that typically happens through your compliance dept. The cost is dependent on the testing center you book with. When you are ready to schedule it you can use one of the following:

• Prometric Testing: 1-800-578-6273 http://www.prometric.com/FINRA/default.htm

That depends on the testing location, but most offer the exams every day of the week (including weekends).

If you are enrolled in a live program & need to miss part of class don’t worry. First of all, you can come back to our classes as much as you need to until you pass your exam. Furthermore, for any exam that we have online training available, we will grant you access to that class online.

You will typically receive login details for Qbank no later than 24-48 hours after you receive your materials. Remember, the first step for your prep is to read.

No. Students are required to have a sponsor before attending our programs. The class is highly geared towards taking the examination.

Ideally yes. The more reading you do before class, the sooner you will be able to take the exam after the class. That being said, we teach the class in a format helpful to everyone regardless of your background.

Yes. As long as you have internet access, you can build & take exams right from your iPad

You must be sponsored by a FINRA member firm in order to take the actual examination.

The difference between the Basic & Standard is the access to training. The Basic Package does not give you access to a live or online class, but it does give you everything else.

The Exhibit Book is included with your physical materials (received by mail). If you cannot locate this book, contact us & we will send you a copy

No. The KIT is a pre-recorded program, intended specifically for an online user. The instructer records all of his lectures along with a flash version of his presentation. The KIT is broken into different units (depending on the exam) & each has corresponding handouts to use for note-taking.

All of our public classes are located in Manhattan. If you are located elsewhere we suggest that you use Knopman Internet Training (The KIT) &/or the iPod App to prepare for your exam. We often schedule private classes domestically & abroad for various exams. If your firm would like for us to come on-site & teach a private course, please call our office for details: 212.626.6899.

The online version covers the same exact content as the live class. It is shorter because we don’t stop for breaks or to answer questions. The KIT includes a navigation toolbar so you can repeat slides as necessary.

Yes, you can come back to our live class if you did not pass the exam. If you previously watched the program online via the KIT, there is an additional charge to attend our live class.

If the live class schedule does not fit your schedule, or you believe you would be better off in an individual setting, you can contact our office to arrange for private instruction. If you would prefer private tutoring, please contact our office as far in advance as possible so we can book sessions on the calendar. There is an additional hourly rate for private tutoring.
